About ✳

Letters before laptops.

Dublin northsider. I got into letterforms the unofficial way — the late-2000s graffiti scene — and never stopped. A computing degree taught me to build what I design; agency years at leSHOP put that to work for Google, Renault, FedEx, Arup and Publicis — including an Eventex Award–winning event for Google.

These days I run design end to end at Febvre & Company, keep Ique Studio ticking on the side, and answer to Bailey.

The road so far.

Not the usual design-school pipeline. Probably why the work doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

Letters before laptops

The Dublin graffiti scene — where I learned letterforms, colour, composition and finishing a piece fast. The best design education money can’t buy.

2016 – 2019

BSc Computing Science, NCI

HTML, CSS, Java, C# and cloud — the technical spine. It’s why this site is hand-coded and why I build tools, not just artwork.

2021 – 2024

leSHOP Agency

The big-brand years: Google, Renault, FedEx, Arup, Publicis. Campaigns, events and identities — including Google Think FinTech, which took home the Eventex Hybrid Event Award.

2025 – 2026

Activ8 Energies

Senior Multimedia Designer at Ireland’s largest solar company — motion, multimedia and brand through a period of rapid growth.

2026 – Now

Febvre & Company + Ique Studio

Running the design function at a 60-year-old fine wine importer — print, digital and self-built tools — with Ique Studio on the side for freelance brand and web work.

How I work.

Concept to shipped

I don’t hand off at the pretty-picture stage. Print production, dev handover, on-site builds — the work isn’t done until it’s out in the world.

Design that performs

Award on the shelf, numbers on the board — the Google work moved engagement 25%, a client rebrand moved it 40%. Craft matters because it converts.

Build the tool too

Computing degree + designer’s eye: when a workflow is slow, I’ll design and build the internal tool that fixes it. Ask me about the wine library.

Off the clock.

The bits that don’t fit on a CV.
