A wine list and reserve list for a bar and restaurant in Waterford's Viking Triangle, open since 1895.
The brief.
O'Sullivans is a bar and restaurant in a building dating from 1750, styled as a vintage social house. Febvre supplies its wines and designed its wine list as part of that service.
The goal was a list that was easy to read at the table.
How it works.
Built on the venue's heritage: Cream stock, a gold double-rule border and the OS monogram match the building and its 1895 story.
Grouped by taste: Reds are split into Light & Fragrant, Medium & Rounded and Full & Bold, so guests can choose by style rather than grape.
One line structure: Each wine shows its name, region and ABV, a short tasting note, then bottle and glass price.
A separate reserve list: Premium bottles sit on a dark green card, so the main list stays short and approachable.

Premium bottles get their own card in dark green and gold, kept back for guests marking an occasion.
The main wine list points to it with a "turn over for the reserve list" line at the foot of the reds.
Outcome
Both lists were printed, laminated, scored, trimmed and folded in-house, then shipped to the venue in Waterford.
The lists are in use at O'Sullivans today.
